What's in My Diaper Bag

There’s something about preparing for a new baby that brings out a bit of nostalgia in me. With baby number five on the way, I’m fully leaning into my 90’s mom era… while still appreciating a few modern conveniences along the way.

Packing my diaper bag this time around feels both familiar and fresh. I know what I’ll truly use in those early newborn days, and I’m keeping it simple with just the basics to start. Of course, I know it will evolve before long… eventually making room for things like bibs, applesauce pouches, little toys, and swimsuits as we settle into life with a growing baby.

For now, though, I’ve tucked in all of our newborn essentials and left a little extra space for whatever the day may hold. There’s something comforting about having it ready by the door, knowing we’re prepared for those first outings. Truly, I love this bag so much! It’s spacious, thoughtfully made, and brings me so much joy every time I see it. It feels like such a sweet reflection of this season we’re stepping into — full, a little busy, and so very beautiful and exciting.
